Glyph Grocer began with a simple yet profound vision shared by its founders, Eleanor and Thomas. Dissatisfied with the impersonal superstore experience and a growing concern for food traceability, they sought to create a space where every item told a story. It started in 2010 with a small stall at a local London market, selling carefully selected produce from small-scale farms.
Their dedication to quality, taste, and the origins of food quickly resonated with the community, leading to the opening of our first brick-and-mortar store on Regent Street. We believe food should be an experience, a connection to the land and the hands that prepared it.
